2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Exterior
“That’s one mean-looking grille on the Santa Fe,” one pal joked. That’s an apt description, as the gaping mouth and thin LED lighting provide a frightening appearance to this crossover. But “mean” on the surface is anything but. The Santa Fe’s face is a jumble of character lines and body contouring.
Blacked-out details on the grille, bumpers, side sills and steps, and roof rails give the new XRT trim a sporty appearance. Wraparound lighting, diffuser-like trim, and band lighting finish off the backlighting.
Every Santa Fe comes equipped with a variety of LED lights, including daytime running lights, headlights, and taillights (optional on the SEL, standard on the Limited and Calligraphy). It gives this crossover a sophisticated appearance.
Beginning with the SEL trim, heated side mirrors and roof side rails are available. Beginning with the XRT model, acoustic-laminated front side mirrors, approach lights, and a hands-free power liftgate are available. motorized-folding side mirrors and a motorized tilt-and-slide panoramic sunroof are standard on the Limited.
Depending on the model, a variety of 18-, 19-, and 20-inch alloy wheel styles are offered.
2022 Hyundai Santa Fe Interior
Interior space is important to us, and Santa Fe does not disappoint. There is ample room for five persons, although two on the back split-folding (and reclining) bench seat is optimal.
The cargo capacity behind the back seat is 36.4 cubic feet and 72.1 cubic feet with the rear seat folded. There are segmented storage areas beneath the cargo area that are great for concealing valuables, as well as gear or other storage items, from inquisitive eyes.
When passengers enter the cabin, they are greeted by a tiered dashboard. This variant includes an electronic gear changer in the center console, which frees up some space. The dashboard is adorned with a slew of buttons, switches, and shell-shaped vents.
Beginning with the XRT (available with the SEL), a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel replaces the 4.2-inch LCD. That panel provides the Santa Fe a more refined appearance.
Cloth seats are normal, however leather seats are also available. The Calligraphy trim is made of high-quality Nappa leather. The majority of models include an 8-way power driver seat with two-way power lumbar support. Some versions come standard with an 8-way motorized front passenger seat.
